Physician Assistant

JOB SUMMARY: The Physician Assistant is responsible for planning, directing and the delivery of primary health care and health education programs. He/she will provide primary care and health education for the age specific populations including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.


Certificate, Bachelor's or Master's Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant Program required.


Licensure as a Physician Assistant and ability to practice in the state of IA required.

Federal and State DEA certification is required Iowa employees.

National Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) required.

Completion of Child & Dependent Adult Abuse for Iowa Mandatory Reporters course required for Iowa employees within 90 days of employment and every 5 years thereafter.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
