Responsibilities:
Completing equipment repairs on production equipment used in food processing;
Inspecting, operating and testing machinery and equipment to diagnose malfunctions;
Performing preventative maintenance on equipment including motors, bearings, belts, fluid levels, filters, etc.;
Performing general maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical wiring, troubleshooting, installation of new equipment and parts;
Documenting all maintenance and preventative maintenance performed.
Education: High School diploma/GED required; Maintenance certification is a plus.
Required Skills:
One or more years of production equipment maintenance and troubleshooting experience;
Strong knowledge in Pneumatics and Power Transmission;
Experience in safety programs and processes such as Confined Space, LOTO, Hazcom, Hot Work, Electrical Safety, etc.;
Knowledge of HACCP, SQF, cGMPs, regulatory protocols and process hygiene requirements strongly desired;
Knowledge of electrical troubleshooting, fork lifts, computers strongly desired;
Food Manufacturing or Processing is a plus.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
