Core AccountabilitiesDaily supervision of processes and procedures for inventory management and replenishment of received product to shelvesCollaborate with Warehouse Manager to create, implement and manage plans for ongoing product placement, movement, and zoningNurture team engagement and high performance; provide input to Warehouse Manager regarding associate training, development, and performance reviewsStrive for continuous improvement, especially in efficiency and accuracy of work performedMaintain the highest safety standards for self and teamQualificationsAt least two years of supervisory experience, preferably in a distribution center/warehouse, but will consider other supervisory or team-lead experience in a fast-paced environmentA commitment to being a strong team member while directly supervising 5-10 associatesStrong communications skills with a get-it-done attitude; proven ability to foster teamwork, positivity, and flexibilityA strong desire to provide high levels of customer serviceDemonstrated ability to prioritize in a rapidly changing work environmentConsistent and reliable attendance.
Core hours are likely to be 1:
30-10:
00pm Monday - Friday.
Because this is a new role and shift, there may be some flexibility on start and end times.
Occasional Saturday work or hours outside of core hours may be required based on business needsExperience with Excel preferredHigh school diploma or equivalentPhysical/Other RequirementsLifting of up to 50 pounds on a regular basisForklift experience strongly preferredStanding, lifting, twisting, bending, walking, and sitting.
